Founded in 2009 by musician and conductor Gillianne Griffiths, My Music Room is a vibrant organisation that creates and produces concerts, stage productions and musical events.

Gillianne Griffiths began her musical studies as an organist graduating with a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education (Music) at Monash University in 2006 under the tutelage of John O’Donnell. She has completed a Masters of Music degree in conducting performance, studying with Professor John Hopkins OBE, at the Faculty of Music, University of Melbourne, as well as studying with other leading conductors nationally and internationally.

Her passion is to explore both her abilities as a performer and as an administrator to further the cause of classical music in Australia. For Gillianne, music is not just a job – it’s a collaboration between artists and giving back to society.

• Sourcing the perfect talent for your event;
• Customising musical acts and shows for specific events;
• Booking and liaising with concert venues;
• Design and printing of leaflets and programs;
• Ensuring performers arrive on time;
• Communicating dress expectations;
• Provide all technical needs;
• Provide any special expectations such as stage announcements and stage introductions;
• Provide event etiquette and protocol; and
• Project management of events.
